Arnold Palmer Invitational betting tips

Tomorrow starts one of the most popular events on the PGA tour - the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Bay Hill is favorite destination for many of the top players in the world who use this big stage to see where their game is just before the Masters - the first major of the year.

This is one of the biggest events on the PGA tour and there are many choices and markets  offered by the leading bookmakers. Here are my 3 tips for this week Arnold Palmer Invitational.

1. Tiger Woods first round score - 69 & under, odds: 2.10

Tiger is 8 times winner at this event and his total score for the 8 years he won is 88 under par. Tiger's comeback is well under way and he is coming from tied for 2nd at last week Valspar Championship. The weather on Thursday is expected to be sunny and calm which promises great scoring conditions.

 2. Top 5 finish - Jason Day, odds: 3.40

Day is the 2016 champion and he is coming fresh after a 4 weeks break. Day is in fine form as well, he is T2- 1-5-T11-T11 in his last five PGA starts

3. 1st round match ups Justin Rose vs Hideki Matsuyama
Winner: Justin Rose, odds: 1.75

Matsuyama hasn't teed-off since the Waste Management Phoenix Open at the begging of February where he has to withdraw due to wrist injury before the second round. Meanwhile Rose finished T5 last week at the Valspar Championship and he definitely is hungry to win the tournament where he finished 2nd when Tiger Woods won for last time in 2013. Moreover Rose will use some new weapons this week at Bay Hill.
